# How to Connect Your Facebook Catalog to WhatsApp (to Show Live Stock)

If you want your customers on WhatsApp to see the latest stock of your products, you first need to create a Facebook Catalog, upload your products, connect it to your Wix store, and finally link it with WhatsApp.

This way:

* Your product list stays updated automatically.
* Customers can browse what’s really in stock.
* You don’t have to manually change products on WhatsApp every time stock changes.

We’ll do this in 3 simple steps.

***

### Step 1: Create a Facebook Catalog

**Why:** The catalog is like your online product list. It stores details like product names, prices, and stock. Without this, you can’t show products on WhatsApp.

**How to do it:**

1. Go to [**Meta Commerce Manager**](https://www.facebook.com/commerce_manager/get_started/?nav_source=commerce_manager).
2. Click **Get Started**.
3. Choose **Create a Catalog**.
4. Select **Ecommerce** → click **Next**.
5. Pick **Upload Product Info** (so you can upload your products directly).
6. Choose the **Catalog Owner** (the account that will manage this catalog).
7. Give your catalog a **name** (example: “My Store Products”).
8. Click **Create** → then **View Catalog**.

### Step 2: Add Your Products to the Catalog

**Why:** Your catalog is empty right now. Adding products tells Meta what items you want to display on WhatsApp.

**How to do it:**

1. Inside **Meta Commerce Manager**, go to **Catalog → Data Sources**.
2. Choose **Data Feed** → click **Next**.

3. When asked, *“Are you ready to upload your spreadsheet?”* → select **Yes** → click **Next**.
4. Under upload options, choose **Use a URL** (this lets your catalog update automatically when products change).

📌 **Note:** Don’t close this tab! You’ll need to **copy the URL from Wix** in the next step and paste it here.

### Step 3: Connect Your Catalog to Wix

**Why:** Wix is where your products live. By connecting Wix to the catalog, your stock and prices will stay in sync without you updating it manually.

**How to do it:**

1. In a new browser tab, open **Wix → Marketing Integrations**.

2. Find **Facebook Catalog** → click **Connect**.
3. Click **Get Your Data Feed** → copy the URL shown in the pop-up.
4. Go back to **Meta Commerce Manager** (Step 2 tab).
5. Paste the URL in the *Enter URL* box → click **Next**.
6. Choose how often you want updates (daily/hourly).
7. Add a **name** for this data source → pick a **default currency**.
8. Click **Upload**.

2. Click **All Tools**.

4. Choose the **WhatsApp Business account** you want to link.
