How to setup SMS for Microsoft Teams

• Set Up a TFN Account:

  • In the Mercuri app, go to the Integration Settings.

  • Click on Connect SMS to start the setup process.

• Obtain a TFN (Toll-Free Number):

  • A TFN is required for sending SMS messages. You will need to set up a TFN account with a telecommunications provider.

  • Choose a TFN provider and follow their process to acquire a TFN. The provider will guide you through registration and compliance steps.

• Submit Your TFN with Regulatory Authorities:

  • After obtaining your TFN, Mercuri will handle the submission of your TFN with the necessary regulatory authorities to ensure compliance. You’ll receive a confirmation once the registration is complete.

• Link Your SMS Account:

  • Return to the Mercuri app and follow the prompts to connect your SMS provider account using the TFN you’ve set up.

  • Enter the required credentials and settings provided by your SMS provider to complete the integration.
