1. Open Microsoft Teams

  • Ensure you’re logged in with the account you intend to use for integrating Mercuri.

2. Navigate to the Apps Section

  • On the left-hand sidebar of the Teams interface, you'll see a range of icons. Click on the Apps icon at the bottom of the sidebar.

  • This will take you to the Microsoft Teams app store, where you can browse and install various apps that enhance your Teams experience.

3. Search for Mercuri

  • In the Apps section, locate the search bar at the top of the page.

  • Type in Mercuri and press Enter.

  • The search results will display the Mercuri app. You can identify it by its logo and name.

4. Select the Mercuri App

  • Click on the Mercuri app from the search results. This will open the app’s detailed information page, where you can read about its features, view screenshots, and see user reviews.

5. Review Permissions and Install

  • Before installation, you may be prompted to review the permissions that the Mercuri app requires. These typically include access to read and send messages, access to Teams channels, and the ability to connect with external services.

  • Review the permissions, and if you agree, click on Install.

6. Add Mercuri to a Team or Chat

  • After installation, you’ll be asked whether you want to add the Mercuri app to a specific Team or to a chat.

  • Choose the appropriate option based on where you want to use Mercuri. You can always add it to more Teams or chats later if needed.

  • If you select a Team, you might be asked to choose a specific channel within that Team where the Mercuri app will be accessible.

7. Confirm Installation

  • After selecting where to add Mercuri, click Set Up or Add to finalize the installation.

  • The Mercuri app will now be added to your selected Team or chat, and you’ll see the Mercuri icon appear in the Teams sidebar for quick access.

8. Launch the Mercuri App

  • Once installed, you can access the Mercuri app from the Teams sidebar under the More added apps section, or from the channel or chat where you installed it.

  • Click on the Mercuri icon to open the app within Microsoft Teams and begin the setup process.
