Types of WhatsApp Message Templates
Transactional: Order updates, appointment confirmations, and shipping alerts.
Marketing: Special offers, discounts, and event announcements.
Header (Optional):
Used for key highlights such as order numbers or promotions.
Can include text or media (image, video, or document).
Example: "📦 Your Order #{{1}} has shipped!"
Body (Required):
The main message with placeholders (e.g., {{1}}, {{2}}).
Must be clear, concise, and follow WhatsApp's content policies.
Example: "Hello {{1}}, your order will arrive on {{2}}. Track it here: {{3}}."
Footer (Optional):
Short closing text, such as a sign-off or disclaimer.
Example: "Thank you for choosing Mercuri!"
Buttons (Optional):
Add interactivity with:
Quick Reply: Allows customers to respond with pre-defined options.
Call-to-Action (CTA): Opens a URL or dials a phone number.
Example: "[Track Order] [Contact Support]"
Log in to your Mercuri dashboard at https://mercuri.cx.
Navigate to Campaigns > Templates.
Click Create New Template and fill in:
Template Name: Unique identifier for internal use.
Category: Choose from Transactional, Promotional, or Customer Support.
Language: Select the template language.
Message Content: Add the header, and body with placeholders, footer, and buttons.
Submit for Approval: Click Submit to send the template for WhatsApp review.
Go to Channels > Templates.
View the status:
Approved: Ready for use.
Rejected: Edit and resubmit with corrections.
Pending: Awaiting review by WhatsApp.
