### Adding Tags /Labels to contacts

Adding **Tags to contacts** helps you organize, filter, and target specific groups of users more efficiently. Below are the steps on how to add tags to contacts :&#x20;

1. Go to the **Contacts** section in the Mercuri CX dashboard and select the desired contact.
2. A side panel will appear on the right.
3. In the side panel, click on the **plus (+) icon** next to the **Tags** section.
4. Enter the relevant tags (e.g., *Schedule a meeting*, *Send details*) and press Enter to save.

*These tags can be used later to segment contacts and send targeted messages easily.*
