### **What Are** Quick Reply **Button Templates?**

Quick Reply Button templates on Mercuri allow brands to send WhatsApp messages with quick action buttons. These buttons help users respond instantly without typing, which improves engagement and reduces drop-offs.

Typical buttons include:

* **Quick replies** (e.g., “Yes”, “No”, “Track Order”)
* **Lead actions** (e.g., “Book a Demo”, “Get a Quote”)
* **Support options** (e.g., “Chat with Agent”)

#### Use Case: Appointment Reminder & Rescheduling

Send automated reminders for confirmed appointments and allow customers to take quick action directly through WhatsApp. This reduces no-shows and eliminates the need for manual follow-ups or phone calls.

**Message Example:**

> Hi there! Your appointment is scheduled for tomorrow.\
> Use the button if you need to make any changes.
>
> **Buttons:**
>
> `Confirm`
>
> `Reschedule`

**Why it works:**\
This reduces no-show appointments and makes it easy for customers to confirm or reschedule without calling or waiting for support.

#### **How to Create Quick Reply Button Templates on Mercuri**

1. **Log in to your Mercuri account**
2. Go to **Templates → WhatsApp** in the left-side panel
3. Click on the **Interactive Templates** Tab
4. Select **Create Interactive Template**
5. The template creation page will open. Enter a **short and descriptive template name**.
6. From the dropdown, select the interactive message type as **Button**

7. Optionally, you can add a **Header** to your template. A header helps highlight key information at the top of the message.

Choose the type of header you want to use:

* **Text** (e.g., “Appointment Reminder”, “Order Details”)
* **Image**
* **Video**
* **Document (PDF)**

8. Add your message content in the **Body** section.

`Hi there! Your appointment is scheduled for tomorrow. Use the button if you need to reschedule.`&#x20;

9. (Optional) Add a footer if needed.
10. **Add Quick Reply Buttons**

* Under the **Action** section, click **+ Add Button**.
* A new button block will appear as shown in the image.

* In this block:

  * **Button Title** → Enter the short text you want to show on the button. In this case, we will add 2 buttons.

  **`Confirm`**  **`Reschedule`**

  * **Button ID** will be **automatically generated**. You don’t need to edit this field.

11. Once done, review and click **Create** to submit the template for approval.
